How did you get into triathlon?
Tried to do a sprint race in Washington DC in 2003 but the race fell through due to permit issues of swimming in the Potomac. After moving to Dallas in 2006 I decided to give it another go when I learned how to "run" in 2009.
How long have you been doing triathlon?
Since April 2010
Can't believe I am writing this - long runs with a buddy to talk to.
Do you have training partners?
Anyone who doesn't mind my slow pace.
TexasMan Oly in 2011 - my first Oly race and if you saw the condition I was in the day before the race you would have told me don't even bother racing.
Don't think I have had one yet (knock on wood!)
Why you do triathlons?
Love the accomplishment of finishing a race and to keep my eating habits in check.
What's next for you?
In 2013 - recovering from knee surgery but will do the DRC 13.1 in november.
Most embarrassing moment doing sports?
Falling off a balance beam at summer camp, had to get stiches and stay out of the water for 2 weeks :-( BTW tall people should be told to stay away from gymnastics.

What time do you wake up?
7AM on weekdays 6AM on weekends
Favorite song to train to?
Dance & Techno - I am secretly a club kid.
Out of all 3 sports- which is your favorite?
Swimming, it's the one activity I have been doing since I was a tot.
What kind of food do you eat during a workout?
Accelerade Orange, Honey Stinger Wafflles, Peanut Butter Gu
Favorite food (regular)?
Any kind of ethnic hole in the wall - Vietnamese, Thai, Indian and Middle Eastern

Other sports interest?
Golf - if I can find time to play or even find time to get to a range and hit some balls.
Something that you like to do that is not sports related?
Cook (another reason I do triathlons,) Read and Veg by the pool or beach during the summer

Top Chef, Project Runway, No Reservations, all James Bond Movies

Take your pick - Born in Hong Kong, family is from New York / New Jersey or Dallas, since it is now the longest place I have ever lived.
Interesting fact about yourself?
For the first 12 years of my life I lived in Asia (and my dad was not in the military.)
What do you like to do to get away from triathlon?
Find new and interesting restaurants to try, host cocktail/dinner parties, veg by the pool with a frosty cold beverage or play board games.
